Eugenia, also known as Suriname Cherry is a good primate food. Even though we are in Florida many plants go dormant in the winter. Our winter only lasts for a month or two but we always want edible plants with fresh foliage in the winter and Eugenia is a good one. Not only does it have nice, edible leaves but it also is a prolific flowerer and edible fruit producer.
